Making a purchase

You can buy our dresses via our website or call us direct on 020 733 4223. If you use our website for your purchase, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt of your order. If we need further information, we will contact you. We have the right to cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud.

Secure payment methods

We accept personal cheques made payable to 'Perfume River UK Ltd' and postal orders by prior arrangement with us. We also accept debit or credit cards such as: Maestro/Switch, Solo, Visa Electron, Visa and MasterCard via Paypal (an online secure payment system used by many eBay buyers and sellers). Please note, you will not need a Paypal account to make purchases and we will not have access to your bank details.

Availability

We don't like to make our customers wait, so we try our very best to maintain a high stock level, which means that when you place an order with us we will let you know straight away when it will be dispatched. If for any reason that particular design is out of stock, we will call and let you know the next available date of dispatch.

Delivery

All orders are processed within 3-4 days of receiving the order, subject to stock availability.

Delivery within the UK will be via Royal Mail First Class Recorded, at cost of £3.95 per order, please allow 4-5 working days. If you need next day delivery within UK, please call us to confirm this option.

Delivery within Europe and Irish Republic will be via Royal Mail Air Recorded at a cost of £6.95 per order, please allow 6-7 working days.

Delivery to the Rest of the World will be via Royal Mail International Air Mail Recorded, at cost of £10.95 per order, please allow 8-10 working days.

Orders paid by cheque take 7-10 working days to process. We dispatch the goods as soon as the cheques are cleared.

All our delivery options are signature service. This means someone at your end will need to be available, during working hours, to sign for the goods. So please remember to provide us with an appropriate delivery address, or otherwise you may have to collect the goods direct from your local sorting office.

Hassle free returns

If you are not happy with our dresses for any reason, we are always happy to exchange or refund your money in full (excluding postage costs of £3.95 for UK, £6.95 for Europe and £10.95 for International). We can only accept dresses that have not been worn, used or altered and in their original packaging within 7 days of the date of receipt. Your money will be refunded back to the card that was used for the purchase securely via PayPal.

It’s important to us to understand why the dresses have been sent back, to enable us to improve our service to you in the future. You will need to email us at enquiries@perfumeriver.co.uk to inform us of the reason and date of posting of the dress(es) back to us. We can only process the returned items once we have had an email confirmation from you. All returned items need to be sent via recorded delivery to our registered office: Perfume River UK Ltd., 77 Ruskin Walk, Herne Hill, London SE24 9NA, United Kingdom. Please ensure that you have sufficient insurance cover as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Please allow up to 10 working days for returns to be processed from the date of receipt of your confirmation email. We will endeavour to do this sooner if we are able.

Please note returned items will only be refunded on receipt of an email to enquiries@perfumeriver.co.uk confirming reasons and date of posting the dress(es) back to us.

Product details

We are extremely careful in ensuring that the information provided about our dresses is accurate. However, variations can occur. For example, with our girls' special occasion dresses and flowergirl dresses, many of the dresses are made from the traditional Vietnamese silk and taffeta silk, there may be a slight variation between batches of materials, so the colour you see on the website may differ slightly from the colour of the actual dress. In addition to this, many of our dresses are hand finished, which may result in slight inconsistencies with beading or embroidery from one dress to another – this is perfectly normal and simply adds to the unique quality, beauty and individuality of each dress.

Tax

Perfume River UK Ltd is a non-VAT registered company. Girls' dresses are zero rated and therefore free from UK VAT from wherever it is being shipped.

Your personal details

We are committed to maintaining the privacy of all the users of our website as well as the security of any personal details received from you, in line with data protection regulation. Personal information given by you will not be available for sale or use by third parties, without your permission. Occasionally, we will email you with information about our new product launches and special offers, please let us know if you do not want to receive these emails.
